The Fox and The Wolf

A series of illustrations for a fable.

The story is simple: both the the fox and the wolf had fleas. The fox slowly entered a stream and the all the fleas started to climb up her body, on its back, then on its head, then, when the fox finally went totally underwater, the fleas jumped on the ground and the fox got rid of her problem. The wolf saw what the fox did, but wanted to do things faster, so he submerged head-down into the stream, thinking the fleas would drown. But when he came out of the water, the fleas started pinching him even worse than before.
